I started creating as Ngraphie in 2016 after discovering joy in hand-lettering, which included learning the basics of modern calligraphy. Not only was I still finding my way around Germany and learning the language, parenthood was still new for me at the time – being able to create and express myself through the art was somewhat therapeutic. I have been lucky since to have had the opportunity to explore various other art mediums along the way through self-learning (mostly books and YouTube) as well as attending creative / art classes (both online and in-person). My current favourite mediums are printmaking, mixed media and watercolour. Creativity has become one of my outlets to connect with myself and others.
In 2021 after a seemingly endless struggle with the “Imposter Syndrome” phenomena, it was time to get unstuck – enough with all the noise! You don’t have to have it all figured out to move forward! “Let’s just do this, Naz and grow as we goooo!”. Continuing my creative journey as a freelance artist was a big step for me. This gave me the opportunity to be present as a full-time stay at home mama while continuing to create and pursue my passion in arts and crafts. All praise be to The Almighty, a huge gratitude shoutout goes to my supportive husband, family members and friends who have given me encouragement as well as opportunities to further explore and grow in this journey. And to my two beautiful children, who are the constant inspiration and motivation for me to keep moving forward.
A few years later, I decided to take another step towards a long-held aspiration: sharing my creativity and love for arts and crafts with others, especially children. This inspired me to further my education and qualify as a childcare educator in Germany. Today, I work part-time in an elementary school setting, where I support children’s learning in the classroom and bring creativity and sustainability together through paper-crafting and hands-on projects in the after-school program. Alongside this, I continue to explore my own creative practice, occasionally creating personalized, handmade pieces for others.
I remain grateful for every opportunity to create, share, inspire and grow. Follow me on my creative adventures and let’s create some magic together!

CREATIONS @ NGRAPHIE
I create to explore, to express and to heal. My designs are mostly minimal, with a little playful use of colour. Keepin’ it simple is my current life motto. I’ve been on a journey to simplify different aspects of my life, and this naturally finds its way into the style of my creations. Just like myself, Ngraphie will continue to evolve, but the intention at its heart will always remain the same: to inspire and empower others to find their own magic in whatever they love to do, nurture connections and spread a little more love. The dream is to simplify and serve.

I am a Malaysian, currently residing in Germany with my husband and two kids. I am a believer in the beauty of the everyday magic, a passionate artist / illustrator, an exploring creative and a lifelong learner; thriving 1% forward each day towards attaining a well-balanced life – mind, body and heart.
PASSION IS ENERGY
I find joy in capturing the little moments of everyday life, sometimes through a camera lens, other times with paintbrushes or pens in hand. Creativity is something I love exploring, but even more so when I get to share it with others. In between looking after our home and making mindful efforts to be present with my loved ones, I always try to find a little time for movement, creating and learning. My free time is best spent exploring new ideas, making things or simply connecting with people. I also cherish the little things, like enjoying a cuppa in my magic corner or at a cosy café nearby.
“How can I use my energy to make the world a better place in my own little ways?” is a question I often return to, reminding myself to turn those thoughts into small, meaningful actions whenever I can.
